Portable dynamic APP cushion

The Portable dynamic APP cushion is a high quality and affordable pressure relief seat cushion system that provides better comfort to those who are in the seating position oftenand long. It helps to reduce the pressure by distributing the pressure over a wider contact area and helps capillary blood flow for pressure ulcer prevention.
• Contraindication
Patient conditions for which the application of pressure relieving therapy on an alternation system is contraindicated are as follows:
Cervical or skeletal
Traction Unstable spinal
Cord injuries
• Limitation
It is not recommended for a person to be seated on the seat cushion naked. Direct contact of a person to the cushion cover may cause unpredictable bio-compatible problems especially a person with wounds.

NOTE!
•Check if the adaptor comes with the right type of plug.
•It is strongly recommended NOT TO USE any other type of switching power supply with the seat cushion pump.
Use of other types of switching power supply can cause hazards to the user and other personnel, and will void the warranty.
•Do not use any other batteries. Use of other types of batteries can cause hazards to the user
OPERATION
• General
This product is designed to provide maximum comfort to home care patients. Make sure that you operate this product in a proper way to optimize its value. Here we provide some general information that you should be aware of.
• DO NOT use another pump with different specifications. It is dangerous to use a pump with pressure capacity higher than 120mmHg. This may result in cell-puncture.
• DO NOT change any components by yourself. If there is need for replacement or repair, always contact your local dealer or service center.
• Mode Selection
The APP cushion pump has two operation modes: ALTERNATING OR STATIC.
ALTERNATING:
In the ALTERNATING mode, the odd number cells and the even number cells inflate and deflate in turns to change the contact area where the patient is supported.
STATIC:
In the STATIC mode, all cells are inflated simultaneously to give the patient an even support allover the contact area.
• Alternating Cycle Time Selection
When the ALTERNATING mode is set, the user may choose if he wants the cells to alternate quicker or slower by changing the Alternating Cycle Time. There are 3 Cycle Time selectable – 10 minutes,15 minutes or 20 minutes.
• Comfort Level Setting
3 Comfort level are selectable from Soft to Hard. The user may select the most comfortable pressure by pressing the Comfort Setting Key (4) to change the ideal pressure.
