2.1 Pressure relief that keeps moving — the AB alternating air system

The overlay carries an AB alternating pad insert. While one set of air cells takes the body’s weight, the other set relaxes, and the pump switches between them on a 10-minute cycle, so the contact points under the hips, thighs and back keep changing instead of staying fixed in one place. The air system is specified at up to 50% pressure reduction compared with a fixed support surface, which makes it suitable for users who sit in the same chair for hours at a time.

The cover is made of PU leather and is 100% waterproof, flame retardant (FR) and stretchable.
